CO2 laser engraving equipment optical path calibration steps!
How to correctly calibrate the optical path of a CO2 laser engraving device? Please refer to the following steps:
1. Lens adjustment
The lens is a very important part of the CO2 laser engraving equipment, and its quality will directly affect the engraving effect. Therefore, before calibrating the optical path, the lens needs to be adjusted.
First, contact the lens with the metal ring at the bottom of the laser head and tighten the fixing screw. Next, use a laser ruler to mark the position of the laser focus point on the paper, and adjust the lens position to align it with the point on the ruler.
2. Spot alignment
Spot alignment is a very important step in optical path calibration. It determines the error of the laser beam on the plane, thereby ensuring the accuracy of the engraved lines.
After fixing the lens, place the plane under the laser head so that the distance between the laser head and the plane is greater than 3mm, and turn on the laser. Draw a square on the plane and use the laser head to engrave along the four edges of the square in turn. If the four lines are not closed squares, it means that the spot is not in the middle. At this time, you need to adjust the x and y axes of the electric lens so that the center of the laser spot is accurately in the center of the square.
3. Scan line calibration
Scan line calibration is an operation performed after determining the deviation of the light spot on the plane. It is an important part to ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
Before calibration, the laser power needs to be adjusted to ensure that the light spot draws clear and bright lines on the scan line. Then, the rectangular scanning mode is used to scan in different directions and record the direction and position of the scan line. By comparing the scan lines in each direction, the position of the paper is adjusted, and the x and y axes of the electric lens are adjusted to make the scan line position accurate and the line width consistent.
The above is the main process of optical path calibration of CO2 laser engraving equipment. When users operate according to these steps, they need to leave enough time and patience on the equipment and strictly follow the operating procedures. Only by correctly calibrating the optical path can the equipment work stably and the engraving effect be excellent.
