Common faults of laser welding machines and solutions!
Laser technology has developed steadily in various industries. In the process of using laser welding equipment, some faults will occur more or less. In order to reduce the number of faults of laser welding machines and increase work efficiency, we must understand the working principle of laser welding machines. Fault 1: The weld is very black when the laser welding machine is welding
1. The nitrogen is not turned on. Just turn on the nitrogen to solve the problem.
2. The airflow direction of the shielding gas is wrong. The airflow direction of the shielding gas should be opposite to the movement direction of the workpiece.
Fault 2: Cracks appear when the laser welding machine is welding
1. The cooling speed of the workpiece is too fast. The temperature of the cooling water on the fixture should be adjusted to increase the water temperature.
2. The matching gap between the workpieces is too large or there are burrs. The processing accuracy of the workpiece should be improved.
3. The workpiece is not cleaned clean. In this case, the workpiece needs to be cleaned again.
4. The flow rate of the shielding gas is too large. You can reduce the flow rate of the shielding gas to solve it.
Fault 3: The penetration depth of the laser welding machine is not enough
1. The laser energy is not enough. You can increase the pulse width and increase the current to solve it.
2. The defocus amount of the focusing mirror is incorrect. The defocus amount should be adjusted to a position close to the focal point.
Fault 4: The flame weakens when the laser welding machine is welding
1. The shutter does not fully open. Check and add lubricating oil to the shutter connector to make the connector mechanically smooth.
2. The laser in the main optical path is offset. Adjust the full reflection and semi-reflection diaphragms in the main optical path. Use photo paper to check and adjust the circular spot.
3. The cooling water is polluted or has not been replaced for a long time. Replace the cooling water and clean the UV filter glass tube and xenon lamp to solve the problem.
4. The laser does not output from the center of the copper nozzle under the focusing head. Adjust the 45-degree reflection diaphragm to make the laser output from the center of the nozzle.
5. The focusing lens or the resonant cavity diaphragm of the laser is damaged or contaminated. It should be replaced or cleaned in time.
