Generally speaking, 10 W of power can cut 1 mm of plywood. However, it is not recommended to run continuously at 100% power as this will shorten the life of the tube. It is recommended not to exceed 85% power.

Air assist is essential for particle removal, increased cutting speed, and protection of the focusing lens. We recommend setting the air assist to 1.5-2 atmospheres.

A lot of smoke is generated during the cutting process, which affects the laser operation. A good extraction system is essential for the effective removal of smoke and harmful fumes
