1. Focus on the surface of the plate

This also becomes a positive focal length. When the workpiece to be cut is stainless steel or aluminum steel plate, the mode in which the cutting point is inside the workpiece is often used. However, one disadvantage of this method is that due to the focusing principle, the cutting width is relatively larger than the cutting point on the surface of the workpiece. At the same time, the cutting airflow required for this method is large, the temperature is sufficient, and the cutting and perforation time is slightly longer. Therefore, when selecting the workpiece material, stainless steel or aluminum with higher hardness is mainly used.

This method is mainly used for cutting high-thickness materials. However, one disadvantage of this method is that the cutting surface is relatively rough, which is not practical for high-precision cutting.
