The effect of copper nozzle on laser cutting!
Laser cutting is currently recognized as one of the metal processing methods with high efficiency, high quality and high precision. There are many factors that affect laser cutting, and the nozzle is one of them. Choosing a suitable nozzle when cutting various materials can make processing easier. How to correctly choose a suitable copper nozzle?
The copper nozzle is one of the most important parts in laser cutting. The copper nozzle is located at the lower end of the cutting head. The laser beam and auxiliary gas act on the cutting material through the copper nozzle. Its main function is to gather auxiliary gas and form high pressure, release it to the surface of the cutting material and the slit, blow away the melted and vaporized parent material generated during the cutting process, and leave a clean slit; at the same time, prevent slag, smoke and other pollutants from rebounding upward, thereby protecting the internal lens.
When the center of the nozzle is not coaxial with the center of the laser beam, the impact on the cutting quality is as follows:
1. The cutting gas is ejected from the center of the nozzle, and the center point of the nozzle is the center point of the plate to be cut. If the laser is not in the center of the nozzle, the laser action point will deviate from the actual point, and it is easy to have a phenomenon that the actual cutting effect is obviously inconsistent with the expected effect.
2. If the laser is not in the center of the nozzle, the beam will hit the inner wall of the nozzle during normal operation. In serious cases, the nozzle will be burned, affecting the actual cutting effect.
